The Holy Spirit Alters Our Lives (FTF-05)
Have you ever traveled to a different country and experienced a different culture? Maybe it's something like not queueing up in lines but leaving your shoes in a row and sitting down until your shoes are the next ones up. Maybe it's realizing that going to the store leaves you with a limited choice of items and of those items there is only one choice among those. Or maybe it's the best of all culture shocks - bathroom etiquette and layouts. These types of culture shock experiences leave us with a changed perspective on our day to day lives. Coming back to your regular life you may long for the seat while waiting in line for the bank. Or you look around your local grocery store in awe for the first time. Or you may say an audible thank you upon returning to your bathroom.
When the Holy Spirit enters our lives we have our eyes opened and experience a complete culture shock - one we can't unsee or turn back from completely. Today, Pastor Joh n Samuel Barnett discusses just how much the Holy Spirit alters our lives as a new creation in Christ.
