III. Why Jesus Came. - Three Simple Points: A. Jesus came for a people. His people. Deut. 28:9-10 1. God intends to have a people called by his name. 2. Jesus came to save the world, but not every person in the world. John 3:16, Luke 16:22-23 3. Jesus will pull it off. John 6: “All that the father gives me, I will lose nothing, but will raise them up at the last day. All that the father giveth to me shall come to me. No man can come to me unless the father which hath sent me draw him and I will raise him at the last day.”
B. Jesus came to SAVE his people.
C. Jesus came to save us from our SINS. 1. Sin is the transgression of the law. 2. Jesus came to save all kinds of sinners from their sin.
From which sin, will Jesus save you? ________________________________________
