Coming To Christ Means Giving Up Man Made Religion (FTF-01)
Starting today, Ministry Moments moves to a new series by Pastor John Samuel Barnett called Face2Face. This series, which can be found in whole on CBC's Youtube page and CBC's website, focuses on disciplining others. The first step in discipleship is to first make sure both you and the other person are disciples of Jesus Christ.
This command that Pastor Barnett biblically encourages all Christ followers to follow comes from the Great Commission in Matthew 28. In v.19-20, Jesus commands His followers this, "Go therefore and make DISCIPLES of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I commanded you..."
Let us all, believer and unbeliever, check our salvation and our closeness of following Christ in the coming weeks. Pray for opportunities to disciple others and follow the command of our Lord and our Savior.
