Berkeley economists recently published a study where they wanted to know about employees' job satisfaction and compare it to their satisfaction when they found out how much their coworkers made. An average score was found of employees who were both satisfied with their job as well as their wage rate.

With their initial stats in hand without knowledge of their coworkers' pay, they then published the pay rate for the group. Those who were on the lower end of the pay scale rated their job and wage satisfaction as low - some were even seeking out new employment or quit. And those on the higher end of the pay scale was found to have little to no affect on their job/wage satisfaction.

Like a child who doesn't realize that he's dirty after playing in the mud puddle, or can't afford the best clothes, or doesn't own every video game system out there until after the snooty kids make fun of him; some of us don't realize how bad we are until we're told we're dirty and looking at the cleaner kids.

What effect would sinful, corrupt man have standing before a holy, perfect God?

As Christians, we should recognize that we live in a world that is unclean. But we should also realize that we have the ability to be washed clean with the purest water that makes us clean once and for all.
