God's Definition Of A Fool
GOD’S DEFINITION OF A FOOL Rev. A.J. Ogden
God’s definition of a fool is found in Psalm 14:1, “The fool hath said in his heart, There is no God…” That verse is a description of a fool’s religion. There is no God! He wants to believe there is no God so he does not have to be accountable to a supreme Maker. He does not want to obey a Holy God’s righteous commands, but just live in sin with no accountability at all. But the Bible says he is a fool!
Every atheist that ever fell into Hell changes his mind in one-second or less about the reality of a literal burning Hell on arrival! No matter how hard you may try to disbelieve it, the fires never stop burning. One minute after death everyone will know I was telling you the truth.
You could believe that you could jump off the top of the Empire State Building in New York without getting hurt. It might be fun waving at the folks in the windows going down, but finally you crash on the concrete and leave nothing but a greasy spot. Gravity won the battle at last. You may have a few more years before hitting the bottom of Hell, and maybe only a few seconds; who knows how long? But it is sure to come if you know not Jesus Christ as your personal Savior.
You are wise if you know God and die as a Christian. The Bible tells us in II Samuel 3:33, “And the king lamented over Abner, and said, Died Abner as a fool dieth?” Yes, Abner died as a fool God’s word said. How will you die, as a wise person who takes refuge in the Lord Jesus Christ, or as a fool?
