Proverbs 11:8 The righteous is delivered out of trouble, and the wicked cometh in his stead.
A good matchmate to this verse is Isaiah 57:1 The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come. The next big event on God's calander is the rapture of the bride of Christ ( 1Cor 15:51-57, 1Thess 4:16-18). I am well aware that many are departing from this doctrine today but this didn't take the Lord by surprise ( 1 Tim 4:1, 2 Pt 3:4). The thing our proverb brings out today is that the righteous will be delivered out of trouble. In the Church Age, the righteous are those who are made righteous by putting their faith and trust in the shed blood of Jesus Christ (Rom 3:22). The trouble is the time of Jacob's trouble (Jer 30:7) that is to come upon the Jewish people for rejecting their Messiah. The whole world that is left will suffer along with them. The Church will be delivered out and the wicked Antichrist will come in after the rapture of the Church. 2 Thessalonians 2:8 And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: We know the Lord is not going to beat His bride before the wedding (1 Thess 5:9) and when she comes back with Him in the Advent she is his WIFE, indicating the marriage has taken place. Check this verse out, Revelation 19:7 Let us be glad and rejoice, and give honour to him: for the marriage of the Lamb is come, and his wifehath made herself ready. After this we read of the Second Advent. If anyone can't see that then I'll have to share this verse with you ( 1 Cor 14:38).
There are movies today that try to give the impression that after the rapture people will miss those who are gone and millions and millions will be caught out. That doesn't appear to line up with the Bible. The Bible says, "the righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: " Compared to how many people there are in the world today (somewhere around 8 billion) when the few christians that are left get raptured, no man will lay it to heart. It will be explained away by some great lie and just like those few hundered people that went missing in those missing airplaines (www.cnn.com/2014/12/29/travel/aviation-year-in-review) , those gone in the rapture of the Church will be forgotten in a matter of days. This corrupting world will be glad the salt is gone. Why will they be gone before the Great tribulation? There is a verse in the Book of Hebrews that describes those who were living for the Lord in hard times and the Bible says of them, "Of whom the worldwasnotworthy"
Thank the Lord we will be " taken away from the evil to come." What a Saviour!
