1. A SEARCHING DECLARATION – v.1
Christ is not condemning passing judgment when it comes to the teachings of the Word of God
It is right and proper to condemn False Doctrine
God has also given civil power and authority to rulers and governments and judicial systems
It is also evident that God has given authority in His Church
You and I as Christians ought to judge OURSELVES!
The Saviour is condemning a judgmental, critical, harsh attitude and faultfinding spirit in the hearts of His people
A good reason to heed this word of command - 'that ye be not judged'
Sometimes this will be by MEN
Sometimes this will be by GOD
