Things are picking up for MZBC. There is an anticipation of Spring and good weather. Operation Saturation, our Church's evangelistic outreach has been well attended and there has already been fruit seen in souls being saved. Many of our members who have not participated before are following through on their committments to "Go" in this New Year.
Pastor has been preaching on the importance of the Local Church on Sunday mornings.
He is covering the Life of David in Sunday School and training our people how to be a witness at the workplace, on the doorstep, and in daily life on Wednesday evenings.
It was a pleasure to have Daniel McDonald and his wife Christina from Fairhaven Baptist Church at our Church this past month. Daniel is planning to start an Independent Fundamental Baptist Church in the Teton Valley of Idaho. There has never been a Baptist Church there to date. It will be exciting to see what God will do.
We are looking forward to our Annual Friend Day at the end of March. Our first newsletter of the year will carry the advertisement to 25,000 homes in our local community. Pray with us that we can see people trust Christ alone as their Savior and that we will get many new contacts.
Pastor has a burden for members to reach their neighbors. If we just went after our neighbors, what could God do through us, in seeing them take the steps to living the abundant Christian life.
Our doors are open for services at 9:30 and 10:30 a.m. on Sunday mornings. We also have an evening service at 6:30 p.m. on Sunday evening. Wednesday is our mid-week service at 7:30 p.m.
We invite you to come and visit with us. A life that is given to God is never a wasted life. A life that honors God will see God honor it. "But seek ye first the kingdom of God..." - Matt. 6:33
What a joy it is to serve God in a faithful local Church.
