Bradley and I just got “home” from the midnight food pickup, and I remembered that I hadn’t written the blog post yet. I tried doing a video update, but when I had the camera going I couldn’t think of anything to say, so I figured I’d rather write about nothing than have my face on the screen saying nothing.
I got to make four trips to Trader Joe’s today! All of the other guys were out working on a project all day, so I was left to do the food pickups. Trader Joe’s really adds joy to my life. If you have a Trader Joe’s near you, you really should go there… every day. It will soon become the highlight of your day!
Tomorrow at around noon I’ll be making my way up to 57th street, to Calvary Baptist Church for the first of several rehearsals for the Getty’s Christmas concert, held in Carnegie Hall on Wednesday, December 17th. I’m really excited about this opportunity! So excited that I even made a special trip to Best Buy to get some ink for my printer, so I can print the last song! (There’s 17 songs in the program) I’m also excited because my mom is coming up for a visit over these next couple of days! Now, I left home and went to college five and a half years ago, and I always did things during the summers, so I’ve really only been at home for a few weeks here and there since May of 2009, but I always went home for Thanksgiving and Christmas. This year I skipped the Thanksgiving trip because of the heavy volume of food that comes from Trader Joe’s, but then when Christmas started getting closer, people from Florida started asking “Is Andy coming back for Christmas??” Apparently they took up a collection or ran a bake sale to buy me a plane ticket, cause now I’ll be home for Christmas!!
I just got a text from Brad reminding me to take the van back to the lot, so I better go. Thankfully there’s no snow, rain, or ice out right now.
