In 1558 Reformer John Knox Released this Treatise Called the First Trumpet Blast. This treatise covered Woman in Civil government. It covers the fact that they have no authority To rule over men in civil government or the church.
He cites biblical as well as historical references. In a time when the Queen was persecuting the Saints of God.
