2. Absalom’s AMBITION (to take the throne) We cannot always tell how our children will turn out where grace does not triumph (1) You have an ambition (2) You are putting Self on the throne of your life and not the Saviour
3. His ASSASSINATION (Sad conclusion) He died in tragic circumstances without a hope for eternity.
