This morning we toured an area Buddist temple. The grounds covered about 2 city blocks. There were numerous buddas all around. A school for boys all the way up to high school is on the grounds and also a building for college-aged monks. After finishing school they are assigned to go overseas to other temples. If a monk was asked what he believed, or why they worship the buddas, they are unable to answer. It appears that they want to cover all the bases by worshipping them all. It is sad to think that they have no hope of heaven. We had dinner at an open air buffet. All the food was fresh and we cooked our own at our tables. Youth EE was held in the evening, our last day here. Tomorrow we travel back to Khaolak.
