Since the Fall sin is in the world. It is in every parent and every child. It is not a passive option awaiting a human choice — it is an aggressive power greater than any choice a human could make to overcome. This force ruins people. This power ruins families. It is a defect, it is a defilement, it is a depravity — a corruption of the human soul whose only hope is the gift of forgiveness, by God’s grace, providing a power to every believe that is greater than sin.

All of this means that raising children is no easy task; there are no easy times. There are hard times and there are harder times. God’s Word speaks into these hard times and offers strength, and wisdom, and guidance for every step of the child-rearing journey.

Whether you are a parent, grandparent, or simply the product of parents — you will benefit from this time in Scripture; mining out God’s instructions.
