Acts 20:10 And Paul went down, and fell on him, and embracing him said, Trouble not yourselves; for his life is in him.
What do you do if the Eutychus in your life has already fallen out of the window, and is lifeless? Is there anything that can be done to help? What did they do in our text?
1. Someone must become troubled over the situation. Paul told them, "Trouble not yourselves", but I am convinced their sorrowing is what brought attention to the matter.
2. Someone is going to have to go where the fallen are. Paul, as well as the congregation, went to him.
3. Someone must be willing to become personally involved with and identify with the fallen and their problems. Paul fell on him, and embraced him.
4. Someone must have the power of God in their life. God working through Paul restored life to this young man.
DO YOU HAVE THE POWER OF GOD UPON YOUR LIFE? DO YOU CARE ENOUGH TO GO? TO GET INVOLVED? THERE ARE MULTITUDES WHO NEED YOUR HELP.
