Today is Maundy Thursday, service @ 7:30 PM

On the night before the crucifixion Jesus celebrated the Passover meal with His disciples, which we now refer to as The Last Supper. He did not feature the lamb on the table, for he was the one true Lamb of God. Instead He took the unleavened bread and the 3rd cup of wine (the cup of redemption), and instituted the memorial we call Communion -- The Lord's Supper.

Tonight CPCC holds its annual Maundy Thursday Communion Service at 7:30 PM. We will sit in the round, with our Communion table in the middle of our gathering. Pastor Bissett will lead us in a time of worship, giving a brief message from the Word, and then serve Communion to the congregtion.

The service should last only one hour. No nursery is available, but families are encouraged to attend this somber and special service of worship.

For more information, call Pastor David at 371-2132.
