In that sermon I spoke of our nations moral slide into what Romans 1 describes as debased minds under the Wrath of God, because of the peoples desire to suppress the truth of God in wickedness and unrighteousness. We went through Scripture after Scripture and discussed the Bible's view of abortion. Now I know the Bible does not catagorize the murder of children to pagan Idol's as Abortion. However the principle is valid. God YHWH is an unchanging God and He has warned everyone about His decree is this and many other matters, just take the time to read what God has said.

Punishment for Child Sacrifice

Leviticus 20:1-9 The Lord spoke to Moses, saying, "Say to the people of Israel, Any one of the people of Israel or of the strangers who sojourn in Israel who gives any of his children to Molech shall surely be put to death. The people of the land shall stone him with stones. I myself will set my face against that man and will cut him off from among his people, because he has given one of his children to Molech, to make my sanctuary unclean and to profane my holy name. And if the people of the land do at all close their eyes to that man when he gives one of his children to Molech, and do not put him to death, then I will set my face against that man and against his clan and will cut them off from among their people, him and all who follow him in whoring after Molech. "If a person turns to mediums and necromancers, whoring after them, I will set my face against that person and will cut him off from among his people. Consecrate yourselves, therefore, and be holy, for I am the Lord your God. Keep my statutes and do them; I am the Lord who sanctifies you. For anyone who curses his father or his mother shall surely be put to death; he has cursed his father or his mother; his blood is upon him.

As I said in the sermon that I posted, Molech is a pagan idol that the people would sacrife their children to. They would cause the chidren to "Pass Through the Fires of Molech." Which meant that they would burn them alive on an alter that was red hot, cooking their child to death. God announced that anyone who did this was to be stoned to death, and that the Peope of God were to be set aside as Holy and consecrated themselves as an example to the world of what it is to truly set aside wickedness and serve the One True God.

Today, we like to think that we are above God and no longer in need of Him. We postulate that we can sin with impunity as long as we get the agreement of the people. But God is clear in His Word that God condemns the wickedness that nations cling to. In the Old Testament, God was actively judging the world and announcing those things that happened through Prophets. and we are told that all those thing which happened in the Old Testament were done and written down as an example for us to learn from. So for those who shake their fist and say "where is your God," Know this for sure. Every person that has ever lived is a vile traitor against God, and under the curse of His wrath. Scripture says in 1John 3:4 Everyone who makes a practice of sinning also practices lawlessness; sin is lawlessness. Scripture also say's that We prove that we are God's enemies by our wicked works. Read this Colossians 1:21 And you, that were sometime alienated and enemies in your mind by wicked works....

This is not new, we are all under the wrath of God and we all do that which is right in our own sight, Judges 17:6; Listen to Proverbs 12:15 The way of a fool is right in his own eyes, but a wise man listens to advice. In the Old Testament, God Judged those nations that would worship the idol's of the day by murdering their own children. These people sacrificed their own children in the name of pragmatism and religion. They actually though it was morally right to murder their own children, and because of this God gave them over to a debased mind that means a mind that will not function, or work. Read along as to what happened to those who murdered and sacrificed their Chrilden to pagan idols.

2 Chronicles 28:1–4 Ahaz was twenty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned sixteen years in Jerusalem. And he did not do what was right in the eyes of the Lord, as his father David had done, ² but he walked in the ways of the kings of Israel. He even made metal images for the Baals, ³ and he made offerings in the Valley of the Son of Hinnom and burned his sons as an offering, according to the abominations of the nations whom the Lord drove out before the people of Israel. ⁴ And he sacrificed and made offerings on the high places and on the hills and under every green tree. This king turned his back on the One True God,and made metal images of the false god baal, and then burnt his own children to this pagan idol.

There are many professing Christians today who are "Pro-Choice," and support the abortion right's agenda. May I tell you, and anyone who hears this message. God never changes and He has forbidden any of His followers from supporting or Practicing what He calls an "Abomination." Here is your proof, for those who say this is not clear in Scripture, you are lying and/or deceived. Deuteronomy 12:29–31 God's Warning Against Idolatry 29 "When the Lord your God cuts off before you the nations whom you go in to dispossess, and you dispossess them and dwell in their land, 30 take care that you be not ensnared to follow them, after they have been destroyed before you, and that you do not inquire about their gods, saying, 'How did these nations serve their gods?—that I also may do the same.' 31 You shall not worship the Lord your God in that way, for every abominable thing that the Lord hates they have done for their gods, for they even burn their sons and their daughters in the fire to their gods.
