Tuesday, March 21 2006, was the 450th Anniversary of the martyrdom of the first Protestant Archbishop, Thomas Cranmer.
How shameful that on the day of this anniversary, the current occupier of Cranmer's seat, Archbishop Rowan Williams, chose to put out a statement opposing the Bible Cranmer loved and laboured to put into English hands!
This message is a tragic study in contrasts ... between one Archbishop who died in the great cause of bringing the Reformation to England β and another who is devoting his energies to overthrowing that glorious Reformation!
