Well, just a "wake-up" left before I leave. In fact, I'm not sure if this will reach you before I get home. I must be at the airport by 11:30 AM tomorrow. I'm pretty well packed except for the last-minute items.
Also, the Korean and Shwekey have not returned yet from Kalemyo, so I have not been able to talk with them. I was sort of hoping that maybe that would be how I spent my last day, but I guess they are having trouble getting back from Kalemyo (surprise, huh?). Also, I think Rev. Sohn will be calling me later today about taking me out to a Korean restaurant for supper. I think his wife will go with us also.
Then this morning Siama and Be Nwee came by to drop off a CD containing the latest iteration of the Select Burmese Psalter. I can't open it because it uses Page Maker or some other program I don't have. I think Carl has it, though, and it is what we used for the Comprehensive Psalter when we did it back in 2000. Siama has malaria, so he is not feeling very well. He is taking medication for it, but he says the medication makes him dizzy.
Well, I don't want to sit on the computer while somebody else is waiting for it, but wanted to drop this in the email in case I don't get another chance to write before I leave. Hopefully I'll be in Bangkok before you get this (I think I land around 3:30 or 4:00 tomorrow afternoon, then on to Taipei before midnight.) If memory serves, I'll be in Los Angeles around ten hours before I leave Taipei due to crossing the int'l. date line. Anyhow, looking forward to being home Thursday AM Dallas Time...around 48-50 hours from right now.
