September—a look back: Wednesday, September 5th, Missionary Robert Mickey to Kenya reported to the church. Saturday, September 8th was our annual Master’s Club Bike Rodeo. Sunday, September 30th in the evening service, our youth presented the music, preaching, testimonies, and reported on their Missions trip to Bozeman MT.
October—a look ahead: Our youth will participate in a Bible Quiz with other churches here on Friday, Oct. 5. They have been studying the book of Galatians. Dr. Don Jasmin will preach on Sunday night, Oct. 7 at the 6:30 service. Our annual Faith Promise Missions Conference begins Wed., Oct. 17 at 7:00 pm. Services will be Wed.-Fri. and again on Sunday morning. Special activities will occur on Thursday and Friday. Missionaries at this year’s conference are: Pastor Bill Hardecker (Philippines), Gene Sharps (Independent Baptist Media building radio stations), Eli Shrock (Cambodia), and David Townsley (Church planter in CT). Each night will feature a DVD presentation, special music, and a children’s conference. Come and hear these preachers share their burden.
Remember the Reformers’ Unanimous (RU) that meets every Friday night from 7 to 9 in our Gym for the purpose of helping anyone who is addicted to anything.
