The Mohammed CARTOONS

Roaring hatred and contempt for free speech, 500 extremist Muslims marched through London on Friday, 3 February 2006 (you can watch video footage of this protest on the BBC website).

Some chanted the name of Osama Bin Laden. Others showered plaudits on the "magnificent 19," who hijacked airliners on 9/11 in America, and the "fantastic four" who blew themselves up in London, and chanted, "You must pay, 7/7 is on its way" - another crude reference to the London suicide bombings which killed 52 people!

Words such as "butcher," "slay" "exterminate" and "behead" screamed out of their banners in thick black marker pen.

The marchers even had messages for those who pointed out that only in liberal Britain would their rights be so assiduously protected by the police: "Freedom go to Hell," "Down, Down UK," and "Behead the one who insults the Prophet."

And to add insult to injury, one demonstrator was even dressed in the garb of a suicide bomber! ... pathetic imagery, insensitive and inciting in the extreme!

7/7 FAMILIES
The irony of the Islamist fanatics who marched through London with their provocative chants and banners was not lost on the families who suffered at the hands of the July suicide bombers.

George Kolias, whose 19-year-old daughter Danielle is still recovering from injuries suffered in the London bombings, said he was "appalled."

"It's disgusting behaviour. These people are preaching death and getting away with it," said Mr Kolias, 43, of Edmonton, North London. "It seems there is one law for them and one law for everyone else. It is inciting racial hatred and they should be arrested. They might be offended by those cartoons, but they should stop and think about the distress they are causing to those who have lost relatives. I find it insulting and very hurtful."

However, march organiser Anjem Choudary said: "7/7 was brought upon the people of London and Britain by the foreign policy of Tony Blair. He violated the sanctity of Muslims, he violated the covenant of security. The police and security people In Britain say they will be another security attack. There is no reason why there will not be another suicide bombing."

The next week ... again in London ... a speaker at a 'moderate' Muslim rally warned of fire across the world if the publication of these cartoons did not immediately stop!

With the Government seeking to outlaw the glorification of terrorism, more brazen examples of such glorification can scarcely be imagined.
