This book attempts to compare Jesus Christ to the one called the Prophet Muhammad.

In so many ways, Jesus is incomparable. Yet the claim is being made that Muhammad is not only a prophet, but that he is the last prophet, and therefore we should hear him. That claim must be challenged.

The author traces the lives of both men through the sources available and arrives at conclusions based on solid historical evidence.

A seriously important book for our time.

I followed the scholarship of Martin Lings, an adult convert to Islam and a friend of CS Lewis, when both of these men lived. His reputation among Muslims and scholars in general is excellent. No one can match the works of Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John, full of the Holy Ghost, and this is what I attempted to prove. The stories told by the best Islam has to offer vs the stories told in your Bible. It's an unfair matchup I know, but it seems to me that we need to be reminded just how remarkable our Lord Jesus is!

In the neighborhood where I minister regularly in Chicago there is now a sign that reads:

God is One. Adam, Noah, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad are the prophets of God... Listen to them all, but follow the last.

I agree with much of that. Calling Adam and Noah "prophets" is a bit of a stretch though. And Muhammad never prophesied, so how he is a prophet I am not sure. But God is One. Jesus said, I and My Father are ONE. And as to the idea of following the last, we must agree again. Jesus said "I am the First and the Last."

He's also the best.
