It is said to be the largest mass shooting in U.S. history. The killer was an honor student. He graduated from a university with a bachelor’s degree in neuroscience. He took classes on drugs and behavior. America is in shock. How could such a student do such horrible things?
Before answering this question, I believe Americans should remind themselves that they are not living in the days when children walked to the little school house down the street to learn reading, writing and arithmetic, and memorize the Ten Commandments. As early as 1930, Charles Potter (a famous Humanist) boasted that Humanists had taken over public education. He mocked that in a few generation every American would be Humanist, since they were required to go to public schools. And what is Humanism? It denies God. It advocates abortion (the murder of children in the womb for the alleged good of society); it embraces evolution (the survival of the fittest); it believes in euthanasia, and other pro-death agendas. Can Americans really be shocked that this system of “learning” (especially after a few generations) would create some really confused – deranged – young adults? Over 50 million babies have been terrorized and murdered in the U.S. Where is the outcry? Not even one of these babies makes the nightly news. It is the culture that is producing mass murderers who look for gun-free zones to become heroes.
But there is another component in this mix. For years, Hollywood has produced movies that glorify villains. Horror and gore and bloody violence are sold to the eager public. The more “real” it is, the grosser it is, the more people love it. We are not far from the days of the Roman theaters, when victims were dressed up to play certain parts in plays, before they were fed to lions – as the crowd went wild.
When you have thousands of young people flocking into theaters to shout and applaud death and suffering, and make heroes out of murderers (by giving them so much attention), can we be shocked as a nation when deranged young adults start seeking fame? When you constantly sell people some confused “cause” (such as fighting capitalism, etc.), and then you give them a climate generated by Hollywood that makes them want to be infamous (like the Joker in Batman), and when they have been steeped in a Humanist’ death culture their whole lives – you just might end up with young adults crazy enough to do something horrible to obtain stardom. If everyone roots for a Roy Rogers, children grow up wanting to be Roy Rogers. If everyone goes crazy for the Joker, or Freddy Krueger, etc., and this is mixed with Satanic gore, a climate is created that can spawn these types of deranged people. The Bible teaches that evil communications corrupt good manners. Even Anton Levay (founder of the Church of Satan) boasted that viewing modern television/Hollywood has become a Satanic ritual. When one thinks of the nudity, violence, blasphemy, etc., in the average movie, who can be shocked at his statements?
When will this nation connect the fact that if they celebrate murder on the screen (and strive to make it as real-life as possible), they will soon get murder in reality? To wake up to this reality, you will have to have enough courage to stand up to mockers and scorners who will roll their eyes and say, “Here we go again.” Yes, here we go again. And again, and again. They are worried about narrow-minded thinking. Yet, they are so open-minded, their brains are falling out. Facts are facts. “Be not deceived: evil communications corrupt good manners.” (1 Corinthians 15:33)
Now for the proof:
“One high school friend said Holmes always rooted for the ‘bad guys’ in superhero movies, which he found odd.” (http://denver.cbslocal.com/2012/07/20/police-shooting-suspect-told-officers-he-was-the-joker/)
The alleged killer told police that he was the Joker!
