It didn't make the New York Times !

I'm quite sure it wasn't in the Washington Post.

It wasn't even in the British newspaper, The Guardian.

And it wouldn't have been thought worthy enough for even our local newspaper, here in Portadown, The Portadown Times !

But, in Heaven, the angels were rejoicing at the news of a sinner that repented !

For, as a result of our Family Night Service, on 27th November, a lady , (as far as I know in her own home afterwards), repented, and believed the Gospel, and received the Lord Jesus Christ as her Saviour ! And "made her fortune" for Eternity !

Praise God for such an answer to prayer!

"Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth." (Luke 15:10)

It didn't make the papers in this world when I prayed through
It didn't seem to matter to all but just a few.
But in the Royal Courts of Heaven, joyful voices raised,
For it made news in Heaven, when I got saved !

Angels were rejoicing, Hallelujahs must have rang
When Jesus touched my life and I was changed !
Everyone in Glory's realm knew my name was written down !
Yes it made news in Heaven when I got saved !

Not long ago a beggar, now a child of the King
This old world just shrugged its shoulders,
To them it didn't mean a thing.
But it was God's Approval that my spirit really craved,
And it made news in Heaven, when I got saved !

Angels were rejoicing, Hallelujahs must have rang
When Jesus touched my life and I was changed !
Everyone in Glory's realm knew my name was written down !
Yes it made news in Heaven when I got saved !
