Dr. John Whitcomb and his family and friends are thankful to God for the news that he received from his doctor on Wednesday, August 13, as the preliminary report on his colonoscopy was very good.
Dr. Whitcomb was diagnosed with colon cancer in the summer of 2002, and has undergone difficult and painful treatments during the past year. His doctor could not find any cancer cells last week, however. A final report will be delivered soon.
As he awaits final word from his doctor, Dr. Whitcomb stated: "If all is well, he will see me again in 2006 -- but we are awaiting HIS upward call at any moment!"
