Having an abundance of good, sound, Christian literature to hand does not ensure that our profit shall be proportionate to that choice advantage. Even when we have good material and the time to read it, we can fail to reap the benefit. This address looks at the place of reading Christian books, our moral obligation and the pitfalls to avoid, pitfalls which serve to prevent the good that ought to be gained from this valuable activity. The purpose of all our reading should be to make us more biblical and practical Christians.
