Best things in a Suitcase
Paul is exploding in praise in his prison cell. The overflow of his mouth while suffering is not complaint. His joy is obviously not fuelled by pleasant circumstances. True praise is based on something FAR bigger than pleasant circumstances. All three Persons of the Trinity have brought about a glorious redemption. This great compelling truth is not only for church leaders; everyone must know God in order to worship as Paul could in his prison cell. Paul was driven to praise by the fact that in God's sight, everything that God has for His people has already been given to them! There is far more going on in this world than we can see. Imagine all Paul could see was the prison? No! Paul is praising God for all He has already given, not because he is expecting more!
