Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins (1 John 4:10).I know in some sense of the word, we receive the good news of the gospel. But we receive Christ because he FIRST received us (Rom. 15:7). I know that there was an acceptance (bowing) to the truth in the gospel by us, but it is because he FIRST made us accepted in the beloved (Eph 1:6).
