If a person is ever brought to see their need of Christ, then they will be satisfied with Christ. For those who need Him, He is enough!
He is enough to justify their souls in the sight of God, and they seek no supplemental righteousness.
He is enough to quiet their accusing conscience. In fact, it is only when they are looking to something other than Christ that their conscience begins to howl; and it is only as they are assured again that Christ alone is enough that they are at peace once again.
He is enough in their worship. It is not necessary for him to have a fancy “worship service” with fancy buildings, elaborate musical productions, and dynamic speakers. All these things can and may be enjoyed by a believer, but they are not necessary for him. Several brethren gathered to listen to a message of Christ is enough for him. Traditions, whether old or new, do not captivate him, so long as he has Christ; nor do the same traditions give him any joy or comfort if Christ is not present.
Christ is enough for life. Believers like nice things in this life as much as anyone else does; and there is nothing wrong with having nice things. But a believer can be happy with the bare necessities of life if he has Christ. Christ is contentment to him, and according to the proverb, "Better a little with the fear of the LORD than great wealth with turmoil", (Proverbs 15:16) he needs nothing more.
