There can be no grace where there is no guilt. There can be no mercy where there is no sin. There can be no pardon unless there is a crime. If you are not a sinner God will not show mercy to you. If you have no sin, God will not give you pardoning grace.

Christ came into the world to save sinners. Are you a sinner? If not, there is no pardon.

But God’s word answers the question. “For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23).

Yes, you are a sinner.

You, who have come short of the glory of God, why not come to Christ who is God’s glory?
