Who Does the Bible Speak To?
Who does the Bible speak to? It does not speak to other men. It does not tell other men what they should do. It tells you what you should do. It does not tell other men how to treat you. It tells you how to treat them. It does not address what others should or should not be doing. It tells you what you should or should not be doing regardless of whether anybody else is! The Lord told Peter what type of death he would die which would glorify God. Peter then turned toward John and said, “What shall this man do?” The Lord replied, “What is that to thee? Follow thou me.” What somebody else does or does not do is none of our business. My responsibility is not to worry about somebody else. I am not to concern myself with whether they are pulling their share of the load. That is between them and the Lord. My responsibility is to follow Christ myself; “Whatsoever He saith unto you, you do it” (John 2:5).
