The Grounds Of Salvation Is Mercy
In the year that king Ahaz died, the LORD sent Isaiah forth with the message of the destruction of all his enemies. We find it in Isaiah 13 and 14. But in Isaiah 14: 1 the LORD declares why he brings this judgment upon his enemies, "For the LORD will have mercy on Jacob, and will yet choose Israel, and set them in their own land: and the strangers shall be joined with them, and they shall cleave to the house of Jacob."
