In about a week, my wife and I will embark on a journey to the center of our world over these past months, even years. We have heard the cry of Christ in His people, and have tried to make it known to you in a variety of different ways.

The Lord willing, those attempts will continue from the Korean mainland. South, for now. It may be difficult some days to write a blog or post a sermon, but as the Lord provides time, we will be providing updates and on-the-scene happenings in this troubled part of the world.

But then, what part of the world is not troubled these days?

As in this blog today, you will find that my offerings are short in specific detail, for reasons we can only hope you understand. But there should be enough content to whet your prayer appetites.

Our jobs there will involve interviews with those who have come out. In one case, these interviews will be part of the process for a new book. This testimonial is being published by a major Christian group that works in such countries as the land of the North.

We will teach a group of adults who not only came out, but are planning to go back in. True heroes, from my point of view. Truly we are inadequate in such ministry, but are relying on the Holy Spirit to use us any way He sees fit.

Then there's this group of northern and southern middle school students, disadvantaged all, who will be a 5-week Bible-based English class under the tutelage of my wife and myself.

We will visit the line that divides the country, we will do a launch, and we will observe a radio program in the making. We will help orchestrate and promote further aggressive plans for spiritual conquest in the prison-land.

Now all of those "will's" above should be taken in the context of "God willing." This is what I can see now. But He always comes up with better plans when we listen.

What a joy. There have been several hindrances, but God has overruled all, and provided much more than we asked for in terms of funds and prayer support. We're asking that you join the latter from next week until the first week of August.
