Apostasy and false teachings is growing rampant in our day, blinding the eyes and hardening the hearts of men and women. A cult is one that "Adds to the scriptures", "Subtracts from Christ", and "Multiplies the requirements for salvation". In 1999, Faith Baptist Church completed a teaching on the topic of cults. It is a warning to believers to recognize false prophets and teachers, and to stand fast by the true faith and the simplicity of the gospel.
