We just wanted to flag up one of the recent sermons preached by our Pastor, Jonathan Stobbs which was a real challenge and fired us up. The sermon is called 'A God Given Victory'. It deals with the victory that God gave Jonathan and his Armour-bearer in 1 Samuel 14, and as our Pastor admitted, it is one of his favourite passages. He also said that he can remember the first time he heard someone preach on it, his last Pastor, Gerard Hemmings who ministers at Amyand Park Chapel in Twickenham. In the message you will hear of the impact that it made on him, and having been under the application that our Pastor brings from this passage we can see why. This message challenges, rebukes, stirs, and gives great confidence that our glorious God is the God of the impossible and can do great things even in this 21st century. We think it is a must listen, and we hope that if you do, you will be as blessed and fired up for the things of God as we were.
