You are in your car or watching TV and they say it, "Go ahead, you deserve it!" What they want you to do is spend a bunch of money where you don't need to. Just in case you can't think for yourself they want to do your thinking for you and give you that little nudge with their stupid phrase.
A couple things here;
1) They don't know you. It is a simple fact that they just don't know you to whether or not you do or do not deserve their product. They don't how hard you have worked or how lazy you have been. They don't know how good or bad you have been. They are ignorant of you altogether.
2) They are usually pushing for unwise and unnecessary items to buy, more along the lines of wants and not needs. Hey, but you deserve it right? They are feeding on one's selfishness, ego, self-righteousness, covetousness, idolatry, materialism, etc.
3) They are lying to you so they can rob you. They get your money by psychological trickery. They do not even care if you do or do not deserve their product. They just simply and desperately want your money and do not care about you.
Conclusion
The lying announcer representing the lying company reminds me of false preachers today as they peddle their lies about God. They create a god of their imagination and they inflate your ego and your abilities and end up with a message that is nowhere near that of any real or Biblical gospel. They assert Man's "rights" and their god's obligations to give you what you deserve for your efforts. God will kill them eternally and all who believe those lies. Expose them often.
