Debilitated or DEAD? The Determining Factor

Everything we believe concerning how God saves a sinner will be determined by our understanding of what happened in the fall of Adam. Did his sin cause him to be weak, sickly, confused, and dysfunctional? Did he break every bone in His body? Did he become sinful? Or did he die?

There are things that can be done to help Adam if he did not die. But if he died, nothing less than the power of Almighty God and a miracle of His grace can give him life. If Adam died, then electing, redeeming, regenerating, sovereign, saving grace is absolutely necessary for Adam’s salvation. Where this is denied or given the status of truths of secondary importance, you have people who do not really believe Adam died.

As one man said, “Wrong on the fall - wrong on it all”.
