Let Us Pass Over To the Other Side

….and the same day, when the even was come, he (Christ) saith unto them, ‘Let us pass over unto the other side (Mark 4:35).

Now to some of you, your day is far spent and the ‘even’ time of your life is upon you. Christ’s word to you is just this: ‘Let US pass over unto the other side’. Do you see it? Do you believe it? Yes, the immaculate, glorious and unfaltering Son of God says to His elderly sheep…I will be with you when you pass from this side to the eternal side! Do not fear, do not fret, and do not be overly concerned! ‘US’…what a beautiful thought, what a truly amazing truth; we are never alone in our pilgrimage through this life, never. He remains faithful to His chosen, redeemed people and He will not leave us to ourselves, be it now or as we close out this life in the time or our ‘evening’. It is as though our Lord is patiently, quietly and tenderly saying these words to His disciples and therefore to all who like them have put their everything in His sovereign arms. We do not know when God will call us home but rest assured of this that we are being lead and kept the whole time because ‘Christ saith unto THEM (His sheep, elect, remnant, called, chosen, selected ones,…etc) you get the point!
