9/30 The Strongest Man
No man can enter into a strong man's house, and spoil his goods, except he will first bind the strong man; and then he will spoil his house. Mark 3:27
“No man can enter into a strong man's house....” Our house (heart) by birth, nature and practice is spoiled by Satan at his will; controlled by our sinfulness at its core and is without hope of any internal rescue by the works of this flesh or power of the will. We are, for lack of a better phrase, internally bound by our vile and corrupt nature! We must have some one who is stronger than the law of sin which binds us, stronger than the person of Satan which holds us captive at his will and stronger than the nature of depravity! Bless the Lord oh my soul....God's strongest Man comes into the heart and conquers them all! Spoils them, over-rules them, is victorious upon them and nothing can ever change the attack and reign of grace upon one of His elect sheep. 'Spoiled,' I like that and most of all, because of that I adore Him who did so because He loved me from the foundation of the world.
