The Song of General Kim Il Sung
There was a time when North Koreans sang the praises of One Who is worthy. The good news is that although they sing the following to one who is unworthy, at least these are a people who will praise. Our job is to pray and work for the Name of the Lord Jesus Christ to once more be lifted up in old Choson. Kim Il Sung, you recall, is the father of the present leader of North Korea. Trained by Russia, and propped up by Russia and China, and set up unwittingly by our own government, this man stole the heart and soul of the Korean people living in the northern part of the peninsula. Yet, brainwashed and afraid, today they sing this "immortal revolutionary hymn" to him: Starting with that three-word description, see how many words you can find in the following that are lifted directly from Christian thought.

Bright traces of blood on the crags of Changback still gleam,
Can you believe this? Flourishing? Free? Democratic? Spring? Read any news or commentary on North Korea. The truth is so obvious!
How does this message flourish? Easy. Close the doors and windows. Unplug computers and TV's. Hush the newspapers. Don't let anyone know what the world is really like outside our little paradise. Foster hate for all nations except ours. Even people of the same skin and language a few miles down the road, they are all evil! They all lie. Only I tell you the truth! Even when they come to help us, it is for hidden reasons. Actually we don't even need their help... Enough.
