Jesus Christ our LORD
“Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high.” (Hebrews 1:3)
It is our obligation when we worship to take care of what we are doing. We should take care of the service of worship that we are about and take care of how our hearts are disposed by the Spirit of God. How we ought to take care to realize Who the LORD is. In the worship of God, we need our minds freed by Him of all other dispositions than Christ and Him crucified. How we need our minds fixed upon the LORD as the incomparable Christ, God’s Lamb, adored by all His saints [justified ones] and feared by devils as the ever-living, reigning, Christ the LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ!
