Begotten Again

"God hath fulfilled the same unto us their children, in that he hath raised up Jesus again; as it is also written in the second psalm,

Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee." (Acts 13:33)

The word ‘begotten’ may also be understood as ‘born’ or ‘regenerate’. On the day of Christ's resurrection, He was begotten, or born again, made alive by the Father. Paul also tells us in Ephesians that those in Christ were raised with Him and seated with Him! Therefore, to be born again is always to be made alive in union with Christ in His death, suffering and resurrection, even all His elect with Him: "Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved) And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus." (Ephesians 2:5-6)
