CALL TO WORSHIP
Great God, when I approach Thy throne,
And all Thy glory see;
This is my stay, and this alone,
That Jesus died for me.
How can a soul condemned to die
Escape thy just decree?
A vile, unworthy soul am I,
But Jesus died for me.
And, Lord, when I behold Thy face,
This must be all my plea - -
Save me by Thy Almighty grace,
For Jesus died for me.

SEEK CHRIST NOT THE BLESSINGS
Since human beings are emotional creatures, we naturally seek things that make our emotions feel better. If that describes you, let me say again what I have said so many times: seek Christ. Don’t seek peace for your heart. You may find peace where there is no peace. Seek Christ! If you find the Prince of Peace, you will have peace of heart. Don’t seek assurance. You may find false assurance in your own works. Seek Christ! A believer will have complete assurance of salvation when we see Christ by faith. If you find Christ, you will find everything your soul, your heart, your mind, and your emotions will ever need.
Pastor
Christ does not quicken the old man born of Adam. Therefore, the Spirit of God does not teach us the Gospel in the natural man because “the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God.” It is in the new spirit that God teaches us the Gospel. Those born of God “have received, the Spirit which is of God that we might know the things that are freely given to us of God.” (1 Cor 2: 12, 14)

Blood Cleanses
We recently had a visit to the Emergency Room, Abby cut her finger, and we were concerned about infection. We listened as the Doctor responded to our concerns. The physician told us the risk of infection from her cut was minimal for this reason, “the blood cleanses the wound.” We were immediately comforted.
What about the man or woman whose condition is far worse? Isaiah wrote- ‘from the sole of the foot even to head there is no soundness in it; nothing but wounds and bruises and putrefying sores; they haven’t been closed, neither bound up, neither mollified with ointment.’ Is there comfort or hope for this man’s condition? Listen to the words of John, in I John 1:7 he wrote “The blood of Jesus Christ HIS SON cleanseth us from ALL SIN.” May we as sin sick patients, rest in these words and in the work of our GREAT PHYSICIAN.
Elder Eric Floyd
WHO CAN CHARGE US?
Here is what every believer knows from the testimony of scripture and from the experience and conviction of his own heart (John 16:8-11). We know, recognize and confess the problem and plague of our own heart, is sin (Rom. 3:9-12; 5:12). But thank God, we also know the solution for sin, Christ and Him crucified (1 Cor. 2:2), Christ our propitiation for our sin (Rom. 3:25). Christ Jesus crucified (Rom. 4:25), the Substitute (2 Cor. 5:21), Surety (Heb. 7:22), Satisfaction (1 John 4:10) and Saviour (Matt. 1:21) is our only answer to every just charge against us, “Who shall lay any thing to the charge of God’s elect? It is God that justifieth. Who is he that condemneth? It is Christ that died, yea rather, that is risen again, who is even at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.” (Rom. 8:33-34).

Preach With Love
A wise old man once said, "Gospel duties are to be performed with a gospel attitude and temper." Therefore, I endeavor to PREACH with love, GIVE Willingly and cheerfully, WORSHIP with simplicity, PRAY with sincerity, SING with thanksgiving, and LIVE with integrity. The form without heart is shameful.
