CALL TO WORSHIP
Worthy art Thou, O dying Lamb!
Worthy, O bleeding Lord;
Eternal, infinite, I AM,
Ceaseless to be adored.
Fullness of riches is in Thee!
From Thee all mercies spring,
And grace and love, divine and free,
And pow’r eternally.
Out of the depths of every heart
Let praise to Thee ascend,
Till Thou to heav’n shall us translate,
Where praises never end.

BUT THIS MAN
The phrase “but this man” is used in scripture to cause us to look to Christ and trust Him and Him alone.
Adam disobeyed God and plunged his whole race into sin, but this man, the Lord Jesus Christ, obeyed God’s law perfectly and made all of His people righteous.
Adam’s sin made all of his race spiritually dead, but this man, the Lord Jesus Christ, made all of His race to live eternally. (I Cor. 15:22)
Aaron’s priesthood was temporary because Aaron was a sinful man who had to die, but this man, the Lord Jesus Christ, has an eternal priesthood because He lives forever. (Heb. 7:24)
The animal sacrifices offered under the law had to be offered over and over again because those animal sacrifices could never take away sin (Heb. 10:4), but this man, the Lord Jesus Christ, only had to offer one sacrifice for sin because His one sacrifice is all it took to put away all of the sin of all of His people. (Heb. 10:12)
Do you see how the scriptures make it plain that there is no one to trust your salvation to except the Lord Jesus Christ?

Grace is not God giving me a chance to be saved, it is God saving me without asking me if He can save me.
Pastor John Chapman
THE FIVE ALONES
Scripture Alone, Christ alone, Grace alone, Faith alone, and the Glory of God alone have been called the watchwords of the Protestant Reformation. To call them that is to diminish what they are. It is from the Scriptures alone that we see Christ alone, Grace alone, Faith alone, and the Glory of God alone. “The Scripture preached before the Gospel to Abraham” (Gal. 3:8). Before they were written they spoke. It was 400 years before the Scriptures were written that the Scriptures preached to Abraham. The Scriptures, like their Author, are eternal. So Christ alone, Grace alone, Faith alone, and the Glory of God alone is the eternal Truth. The five alones were not developed during the Protestant Reformation, they are the eternal Truth of God and they are one! Where you have one, you necessarily have all five. Take away the alone, and they are all meaningless!
Pastor Todd Nibert
I CAN’T MESS IT UP!
A dear friend was talking about how blessed the gospel of Christ's grace was. I can't remember all the details we talked about. I suppose we talked about electing love and redeeming grace and how the Lord in tender mercy called us out of darkness with a call we could not resist, and has kept us till that very day, and refused to let us go. When saints get to talking about spiritual things they often talk about such subjects as these. When our discussion was almost over, my dear friend put the icing on the cake, as it were. "And the best thing about this gospel," he said, "I can't mess it up!" Jesus has finished the work, it is already done, so, "I can't mess it up." I am in Christ accepted and complete, and sealed unto the day of redemption; in Christ now and in Christ forever so, "I can't mess it up." I feel like I have messed up everything else but, thanks be unto God I can't mess this up. I can't mess this up. It is un-messed-up-able.
Pastor Bruce Crabtree
“Then shall the righteous answer him, saying, Lord, when saw we thee an hungered, and fed thee? or thirsty, and gave thee drink?” Mt. 25:37
The only people that think they do not bear any fruit are the people who bear it.
