“Coffee with Christ”

(Philippians 3:12)

“Not as though I had already attained, either were already perfect: but I follow after, if that I may apprehend that for which also I am apprehended of Christ Jesus.”

Did you find the Lord or did the Lord find you? We were escaped fugitives on the run and were apprehended by Christ! But why? Why did the Holy Spirit hunt us down and apprehend us? Meeting Christ astonished Saul to the point of trembling. He cried, “What wilt thou have me do?” He spent the rest of his life carrying out the answer to that question! Most are satisfied because they believe they are saved from the penalty of sin. Not Paul! To live is CHRIST! Our life’s work, our goal in this life, should be to chase after what it was that Christ apprehended us for. Oh, are you waiting for the answer to the question, What were we apprehended for? It’s really very simple! To Glorify Christ with our lives. To honor and serve Him by reflecting His Image to the world.
