And the Lord said, “Hear what the unrighteous judge said; now, will not God bring about justice for His elect who cry to Him day and night, and will He delay long over them? I tell you that He will bring about justice for them quickly. However, when the Son of Man comes, will He find faith on the earth?” vs6-8
Here is the problem, we have so much unbelief.
The problem is not in the world. God would avenge us and send the Spirit. The problem is our own backbiting and lack of love. Rather than rally together, we keep a distance. Promotion of self, envy, and gossip have gotten the better of us. It's a dreadful condition because of small faith.
The remedy is to cry out to God, personally and collectively - as a church and churches. Satan has deceived us into thinking that accurate doctrine does not need the Spirit, and correct theology justly eliminates love.
No, hide not from the prick of conscience. God shows us our bitterness. We feel our souls rise up against the saints, when we are not honored. We feel the pang of the competitive and judgemental spirit within us. Oh, excuse a lack of love no longer.
The gospel must be lived INSIDE OUT! It's not enough to hide our faults by keeping a distance. There must be zealous love from the inside. 1 Peter 1:22, "By obedience to the truth, having purified yourselves for sincere love of the brothers, love one another earnestly from a pure heart."
Everyone of us should be the chief repenter! God will help his elect. He will!
