The Mighty Spirit of the LORD,

Broke through my stony heart.

And by a wondrous work of Grace,

New Life He did impart.

I trust no more upon the works,

Which in the flesh I wrought.

But now I rest in Christ alone,

Who my redemption bought.

To justice Jesus paid the debt,

Which I could never pay.

And by His sacrificial death,
