Mystery of Mysteries

"For ye know the grace of our LORD Jesus Christ, that, though he was rich,

yet for your sakes he became poor,

that ye through his poverty might be rich."

(2 Corinthians 8:9)

He left Heaven, veiled His Deity in human flesh became a child among men, a Man of sorrows and acquainted with grief. He hid not His face from spiting and shame. He came not to be ministered unto but to minister. He gave His life a Ransom for many. He gave His life that they might have life and life more abundantly. Greater love hath no man than this. Jesus Christ died for sinners. Whilst we were yet sinners Christ died for us. He was made sin Who knew no sin. O mystery of mysteries! There was no sin in Him but sin was laid upon Him. He died for our sins and rose again for our justification.
