(Proverbs 8:17) “I love them that love me; and those that seek me early shall find me.”
The evidence that we Love Him is that we seek Him. The evidence that we seek Him is that we find Him! When we grope blindly in the darkness and our outstretched hand finds His, it is only because He placed it in the way. If we find Him it is because he came looking for us. If we love Him it is only because He first loved us! Even the desire to search for Him is a gift!
(1 John 4:10,19) “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins. We love him, because he first loved us.” (John 14:21) “He that hath my commandments, and keepeth them, he it is that loveth me:”
