“Coffee with Christ”

(2 Corinthians 11:13-15)
“For such are false apostles, deceitful workers, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ. And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light. Therefore it is no great thing if his ministers also be transformed as the ministers of righteousness; whose end shall be according to their works.”

What is the main focus of the leaders of your Church? Is it a program oriented atmosphere, where the interest is that everyone feels they have something to do? They feel connected and are a part of something? Is it a praise and worship atmosphere were everyone feels euphoric? While there is something to be said for “some” programs and of course praise and worship is wonderful, it should not be the core of activity! We have fallen from keeping the Word of God central. The heart of the Church must first be the Glory of God by keeping the commandments of God. Pastors, we have a mandate from God to take care of His Bride and an instruction book to go by! To teach the doctrines of God to their fullest and deepest extent is our greatest responsibility. Church member, you have a mandate from God as well. “Study, to show thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth” Are you learning the Word of God where you are? Can you tell someone what comes first, Regeneration or Salvation? What is the difference? What does a person have to do to be saved? Does everyone have the gift of faith and it is up to the individual to exercise it in order to be saved or is saving faith, faith in a particular object and at the moment you have that faith you are saved? What have you actually learned in Church? Hereby do we know that we know Him, if we keep His commandments! How can you keep what you don’t know?
