The pre-reformation was followed by the reformation where Martin Luther nailed the 92 thesis on the wall. God used it to set the reformation where He put His Word back into the hands of His people. He gave us back the Bible, set back our righteousness by works, and set back the hierarchy of the church. We are going to discover why that scripture is so important. The Bible is profitable to lead, correct, and to guide and lead us in the way of righteousness!

How so: How can the word of God be so profitable? It is GOD'S WORD! It is the inspired word of God. We are called to be holy as the chief end of man which is God's glory. He gives us HIS WORD that we may live unto His glory! Scripture ALONE is the infallible (and God's) rule of faith and of all living. All scripture is literally the breath of GOD and has its start with God who IS TRUTH! From the vantage point of faith we understand and we believe everything that was written in God's word to be God inspired and by Him! That's why different people shine...you have the metrics and extreme logic of Paul, the systematic way it is written as they had to search their own prophesies on what they had written and wrote. It is the dependable WORD of GOD! It is TRUTH! We believe by faith! And I add that we believe by faith not just a little bit but COMPLETELY!

For what? It is profitable. Utility and can accomplish the purpose for what we use it for. We understand the utility of certain items in the sense that we know what they can accomplish and be used for. God makes sure that we are equipped and have it as we walk here below as soldiers of the cross to lead and direct us. It is NOT what I say or what you say or what each of us thinks about the matter or topic...but what GOD SAYS! God puts the Bible in our hands and says it is PROFITABLE! It is a teacher, it rebukes and corrects us, it leads and it instructs us, and it leads, guides, and instructs us in righteousness. It teaches us all about the truth and unlike every other book it is ALWAYS CORRECT! Not a textbook on science and math etc.....but it is GOD'S TRUCK about EVERYTHING! It is profitable for reproof. It corrects everything that is not truth. It refutes and can be taken to all things that refutes the lie as well as corrects our personal life! It leads us in the way of righteousness....in a sanctified and holy life. It instructs us and shows us the way we ought to walk.

Purpose: That the man of God may be thoroughly furnished unto good works as we have a heavenly end in mind as we pattern our live after the heavenly.
